Who we are

“We” and “us” in these terms mean Frank's Musik Services LLC, which owns and operates B♭ Studio and this website.

What these cover

These terms apply to this website, to the waitlist and, in the section below, to the Practice subscription. They don’t cover use of the B♭ Studio application at https://app.bflatstudio.com. A studio that runs an install does so under a separate written agreement, and a family at that studio uses the iPhone and iPad app under the studio’s terms.

The waitlist is not a promise

Joining the list doesn’t entitle you to access, to a place in a queue, to a price, or to the product ever being released. B♭ Studio is in development, features described on this site may change, and it may never become generally available.

This site says what the software does today and what it doesn’t do yet. If a page says something isn’t built, it isn’t.

The Practice subscription

The iPhone and iPad app has a Practice subscription for people who aren’t at a studio that uses B♭ Studio. It unlocks the practice tools for as long as you are subscribed.

The price is $3.99 a month, and the app shows the price before you subscribe. The price shown when you subscribe is the price you pay.
You subscribe in the app, through the App Store. Apple charges your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
The subscription renews every month until you cancel it. To avoid being charged for the next month, cancel at least 24 hours before the current month ends, in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
Apple takes the payment, so Apple handles refund requests under its own policies. We can’t issue a refund for a charge we didn’t take.
Families at a studio that uses B♭ Studio don’t pay. The practice tools are part of the family app at that studio.

What the app does with your information is in the privacy policy.

Using this site

You may read it, link to it and quote it with attribution. You may not attempt to disrupt it, submit automated or fraudulent entries to the form, or use it to send anyone else unsolicited mail.

Our marks

The name B♭ Studio, the flat-on-a-stave mark and the wordmark are ours. The brand page explains how to use them if you are writing about us. Anything beyond that needs our permission, and you may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.

No warranty

This site is provided as it is. We don’t warrant that it will be available, accurate or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for any loss from relying on it.
